Eva Longoria is a total fox, and based on her pics, we can see she works hard to stay in tip top shape for us all to behold. Does she have to work for that body? The answer is YES!

Eva is more knowledgeable than your average celeb when it comes to fitness: The 31-year-old is a former aerobics instructor and has a degree in kinesiology from Texas A & M University-Kingsville. These days she gets her expert moves, as well as her motivation, from Los Angeles trainer Patrick Murphy, with whom she works out for one hour, three times a week. “Sometimes Pat literally has to drag me out of bed,” she says. As a mother of a 3 year old, I know exactly how she feels!

Eva warms up for 10 minutes on the bike or the treadmill and then focuses on strength training. “Each session we do between 25 and 30 total-body exercises–lunges with torso twists and one-legged squats with clean and press, for example–with 30- to 45-second rests in between,” says Patrick, who uses tools , which test endurance while increasing strength and balance. Eva says she’s seen the most results focusing her efforts behind her: “With all the lunges, squats and leg presses I’ve done in the last two months, I think I’ve gained an inch of muscle in my butt.”


To keep her energy up after the gym, Eva has a hearty, protein-packed breakfast. “I love egg whites,” she says. “My mom made them for me when I was little.” Raised on a ranch in Corpus Christi, Texas, Eva learned early to love fresh fruits and vegetables and healthy cooking, including Tex-Mex specialties like tacos and tortilla soup. “When I don’t have time to cook, I still squeeze fresh lemon on cucumber slices,” she says. “It’s a Mexican delicacy.”

Eating right is made easy on the Desperate Housewives set, Eva says, because the cast and crew prefer fruit, salads and meals made with lean proteins and whole grains.

But the actress does keep it real–and yes! she indulges. “Chocolate-chip cookies are my weakness, and I eat pizza often–sometimes twice a week,” Eva says. “I know my body craves what it needs, and sometimes it needs pizza!” I am pretty sure she eats very healthy and in moderation most of the time.


On her rare days off, Eva recharges by sleeping late, flipping through paperbacks on the private balcony off her bedroom–Candace Bushnell’s Lipstick Jungle is a recent favorite–or catching an early movie. “When I really want to reward myself, I get a relaxing massage,” she says. Her favorite way to spend her weekend is with her boyfriend, 6-foot-2-inch San Antonio Spurs point guard Tony Parker–either snuggling under a blanket while watching a basketball game or de-stressing together in Eva’s home spa.

Britney looks fantastic now for her Circus tour, after a few years of struggling to get her life in order and body back into shape after the birth of her sons. I, for one, am really proud of her. Life can be messy, and living in the spotlight only makes that mess very public, so my heart goes out the her. I hope her new healthy body is a reflection of other healthy changes that we all end up needing to make as women and mothers and adults….anyhoo…enough of that. Here’s the lowdown…

We hear that Britney shells out a total of nearlt $23,000 a month to get her body back in shape. She pays $4,ooo for a private dance choreographer, $8,000 to work with elite celebrity trainer James Van Daff who also trains the Pussycat Dolls.  She thens shells out another whoping $10,ooo for diet supplements and a nutritionist. A source says “She changed the way she eats. Portion control and fresh food” are what she is focusing on.

Reportedly, Britney limits herself to about 1400 calories a day, eating steamed fish as frequently as possible and swaping water for Red bull. Once a week she has cheat days to satisfy cravings she may be having during the week.

Last October, Cheryl Burke defended her curvy figure when bloggers slammed her for gaining weight. Ummm, yeah, Cheryl was a size 4, so I don’t understand why anyone in their right mind could call her fat, but whatever. Regardless, new photos of the Dancing with the Stars beauty in St. Lucia should silence any critics.

Fresh from a Caribbean vacation with her boyfriend, hottie model Maxwell Zagorski, Burke, 25,  says that shedding the pounds and maintaining her ideal weight  has been relatively simple.

“I gained a few pounds and everybody was talking about it last year,” the two-time Dancing winner says. “But taking it off was simply a matter of doing a bit more cardio to supplement my dancing. I’m also making sure I eat clean foods and healthy snacks.”

She attributes her healthier diet to boyfriend Zagorski. “He’s a much better cook than I am and it helps when we eat meals together that are healthy as opposed to going out for dinner, which I did a lot when I was single,”  she says.

On Friday night Burke will celebrate the grand opening of her third Cheryl Burke Dance studio, in Mountain View, Calif. Over the summer she’ll be working on designs for her line of fitness wear and wants to develop a line of casual workout shoes. Check out the new studio by following the link.

“There’s this huge explosion of things that have happened in my life in the past three years and I’m so grateful,” Burke says, noting that best of all, more people than ever before are taking up dancing.

“People are seeing that it’s a great alternative to going to the gym,” Burke says. “It’s a great way to do something really healthy for your body and you don’t even know it because you have so much fun doing it.”

 I take a ballett class, and several Zumba and Hip Hop classes every week. I completely agree!! I adore them!

Megan Fox Stay Slim Diet and Exercise Secrets

meganfoxWith a body like that, who would think that Megan Fox hates to workout?  Well it’s true!  The “Transformers” actress says, “I’m very lazy. I hire a personal trainer who is supposed to come three times a week. He comes to me – I don’t even have to leave the house. He’ll come to my house and I’ll be lying in the exact same spot he left me in. I’ll be like: ‘Not today! Not today!’ So, for me to do these scenes [in Transformers] was hard but fun.”

The actress spends 30 minutes of her time doing cardio exercises that flatten and tone her abs. She begins with some warm-up movements butterfly crunch or front planks and then she gets down to business with knee-ups, leg swings and ball leg lifts. She then mixes the cardio moves with Pilates or cycling for another 30 – 45 minutes to round out her workout.

As for her diet, Megan is careful about her daily meals and really focuses on eating a healthy breakfast so she has lots of energy and doesn’t overeat later on in the day.  She loves eggs and usually has them every day.  Megan is also a fan of almonds because she knows they contain filling protein and fiber. They’re also a good source of vitamin E, a powerful antioxidant that might help give her that amazing complexion.  She’s a fan of lean protein sources and eats lots of veggies and fruits to keep her full.

There’s really no big secret here, she just makes good choices and has incorporated them as part of her lifestyle which is truly the secret to staying healthy and slim!

Kim appears on the reality show Keeping Up with the Kardashians is now going scripted on the new season of The N’s competitive surf drama Beyond the Break, about an all-girl surf team in Hawaii.

Karadashian will appear in four episodes beginning Monday June 8 (8 p.m. ET) as Elle, the jealous girlfriend of artist Vin, played by Michael Copon.

“The most challenging part of playing the role of Elle was just trying to be the mean girl,” Kardashian explains. “I’ve never really been that outspoken girl. It’s the confrontation that I’m not used to, so I think doing that was really kind of refreshing in a weird sick way.”

Working on the set of Beyond the Break, which will air Mondays through Thursdays in June, was the “perfect experience” for Kardashian.

“You couldn’t have it any better than filming in Hawaii on the beach,” she says. “Everyone was really nice and gave me their takes on how I should play this character and I kind of took a little bit of everyone’s advice.”

Will Kardashian be fielding any more scripts in future? “Acting was kind of fun,” she says. “You never know, I might want to do that a little more.”

Currently, there are three DVDs to choose from: The Ultimate Butt Body Sculpt, Amazing Abs Body Sculpt and Butt Blasting Cardio Step.

Each DVD features Kim and her personal trainers Jennifer Galardi and Patrick Goudeau taking you through a complete exercise routine that incorporates resistance training exercises, stretches and blasts of cardio. The DVD series is a fun cross between a Keeping Up With the Kardashian’s episode and a workout video, as in between routines you can get an insiders glimpses of Kim’s wardrobe, make-up touch-ups and behind-the-scenes conversations.

Filmed in her own Parisian-influenced apartment, Kim doesn’t disappoint as she combines her trademark kitty-cat diva persona with her love of the spotlight and fashion.
